Audacity: Robot Voice project

I saw a tutorial about how to change your voice into robot voice by using Audacity.
The mean thing I need to do is to change the pitch and tempo of the voice and make multiple layers.
Because I don't have a micro phone that I can record my voice and I want to make some thing funny. I tried to make the robot voice of the songs I downloaded.
The tutorial's value of pitches does not fit the songs. So I did some change to make it better. However it is still strange.
Finally the song end up with many different tunes at the same time.
